I was diagnosed with colitis at nineteen, a condition that runs in my family. Over the years, I've experienced painful flare-ups, countless medications, months on prednisone, regular colonoscopies, and hemorrhoids so severe that even sitting down became difficult.

Living with these conditions has taught me the importance of paying attention to changes in my body and advocating for my health.

I'm not a doctor, but I know how easy it can be to dismiss symptoms or put off uncomfortable conversations. Rectal bleeding and changes in bowel habits should never automatically be assumed to be hemorrhoids or a fissure. They deserve a conversation with a healthcare professional.

Why I Chose to Give Back

I created The Dumpling because I know what it's like to need comfort for something you don't necessarily want to talk about.

But this has always been about more than one product or one person's experience. It's about making everyday discomfort easier to manage, opening conversations, and reminding people that their health and dignity matter.
